X-Alt! History

Our story began a lot longer than anybody really goes back...everyone of our members has their own musical story to tell, which we will get into later.  We all met at the Belle Meade United Methodist Church.  Some of the group had been involved with the Contemporary Worship Service there for several years, and some were newcomers.  But we all shared a Love of the Lord, and felt called to Praise His Holy Name through our gifts of song and worship.  When Belle Meade decided to go in a different direction with their service, we were just not ready to give up that easily.  At first we were upset by the change, but soon we realized that this was really God’s way of “kicking us out of the nest” and on to bigger and better things.  So, after lots of prayers and consideration, we began offering our service to different churches and coffee houses.  We have received lots of good response and feel like this is really our chance to:
